It was almost as though he knew I was slightly down that he sent me friends who would make my day.
Prabs stayed over with me at Raffles Hall. We played pool, studied, edited and ate until 4am in the morning. Slept and got up at 8am because I had a lecture at 9am. She followed me down and we saw Han Zhi : ) So Prabs just crashed my theatre studies lecture. After that, Prabs, Serena and I headed down to University Hall and hung out at the cafe while we ate breakfast. It was delicious!!! Yoga joined us and after Serena left for another one of her lectures, the other three of us just hung out. I spent some time doing editing.
Then Serena returned and I went out to talk to someone very important : ) You know who you are darling.
After all that nonsense, the four of us left NUS at 4pm and headed down to City Hall where we actually went searching for food first. But we were constantly deviated.
Here's what we did instead...
1) Went into 'That CD shop'. That's really the name of that shop lol. Why did we go in there? Because we were all attracted by the Pirates of the Caribbean song we heard. And when we went in, it was discover that the piece was done by a guy named David Garrett. On top of that, we realise that in his CD, he also did the violin piece for 'Smooth Criminal'. I've placed both songs here for your listening. You have to hear this because it is so very impressive.

Smooth Criminal:
2) Found a pen shop. I love calligraphy ink pens. Used one once but never managed to own a set. Would love to have one though and am going to save up to purchase those gorgeous pens.
3) Found a notebook shop that had notebooks which were gorgeous. I love shops like that and was distracted with the others for another good 15 minutes : )
4) Stumbled upon an art gallery. If I could show you two of my favourite pieces, I would do it but I can't : ( But the pieces were absolutely beautiful. One was of a paddy field that was done in acrylic paint that gave the art piece a 3-D effect while the other was a grey painting of a nude female who was swishing her hair around. You should have seen it to have appreciated it.
So that's what we found randomly. Soon after, began the walk to substation. Along the way, we stumbled upon these things.
5) A concept shop for interior designing. Serena had been eyeing the place so we all decided to enter. It was such a stiff yet exciting experience. None of us had the money to purchase anything in there but it was fun to walk around checking out every single piece. Even though, the sales assistant was watching us very closely, we drank everything in before moving off.
6) An art gallery at substation. We peered through a glass window that had Yoga kneeling to look through : ) Prabs took a picture of this.
7) We discovered that on the first Monday of every month, Substation shows a local Singapore film for free. So that's where want to go : )
And then we arrived at our destination. Dinner was good and so was the company.
After that, walked back to the MRT station in the rain. Serena and I had a good talk on the train. I <3 you girl : ) And then Yoga had to leave. And then Serena said bye to Prabs and I.
Then the two of us walked back.
Now I'm home, sated and satisfied and I have to thank everyone for today. Espcially the three of you.
PS: Darling, I'm very very very proud of you.
