Dreamlike State

I'm been floating in an almost dream-like state for awhile. I won't exactly say for how long I've been doing so but it has become a habit. I suppose it has done me some good for in a way, I enjoyed a bit of self induced bore time. Lol I don't suppose anyone would understand that but me. But it's okay.

Anyways, I'm gonna stop that soon. No one but I will probably realise the difference which is normally the case but it'll be awesome. I'll start doing things and actually feel for it again.

But my frisbee buddies....don't mistake me. Those sessions with you guys were probably the one thing that kept me tied down. I needed those sessions more than you guys could ever imagine. And I thank you for them Indra, Yoga and Prabs.

So let's just move away from what I wrote on top being the most personal I'll ever get XD and talk about TERMINATOR SALVATION.

Da dum dum da dum
Da dum dum da dum
Da dum dum da dum

That's all I'm going to say about this freaking awesome, amazing, brilliant, mind-blowing, did i mention awesome masterpiece!!!!

Why do we do the things we do?

Are we presented with all the options in life or are we given only a single choice?

Do we get to do the things we love or are we just doing the best of the worst?

Should we protect the ones we love or help the ones who can hurt them?

Will we die knowing we have lived life to the fullest or will we live knowing the end is coming?

The Guardian

The Guardian

God created 8 Worlds. He also built a sacred land called Arilt. Arilt is the linkway from one world to another. On Arilt, the gods left two beings to protect it from evil. They were two brothers. At that time, evil was anything that reeked of greed, hatred, jealously, vengeance and menace. It had no particular form.

Both brothers were tasked the job of making sure that the eight worlds were taken well care of. They were to also watch over the gateways that led to the eight different worlds. Anyone could visit any of the other worlds but they all had to go through the two brothers. All was calm and at peace. However, soon, there was word of an evil rising. His name was Garthox. Garthox raged war against many Worlds and took many innocent lives. He attempted to strike a deal with God.

He asked for complete rule over Anothadis. When god said no, Garthox flew into a rage of fury and began to wreak havoc. Noone knew where he had attained his powers but to expand his power, he began to steal the souls of other creatures. Slowly, he became powerful and although, the two brothers, warned him, he ignored all warnings and carried on with his quest to dominate all eight worlds. The two brothers pleaded with God to destroy Garthox.

God made a decision. He chose eight different beings from the eight different worlds. He made them stronger than the rest of their people and named them the Guardians, the chosen ones. Their abilities were enhanced ten- fold.

Together, they formed a plan to capture Garthox who now had the power to form an army of his own. He was becoming greedier and hatred filled his soul.

The Guardians requested the 2 brothers to create a portal to entrap Garthox in the Void Dimension. Garthox was now too powerful to kill so they could only trap him. The brothers agreed and created the portal to the tormenting dimension where time does not exist. The Guardians fought a great battle that lasted for decades before they finally captured Garthox. At the point where he was most weak, they managed to overpower him and seal him within the Void Dimension. But they could not trap 5 of his most powerful minions who ran his armies.

However, this is not where it ends. For when Garthox was being sealed into the Void Dimension, he created a prophecy. He put a curse on the portal leading to the Void Dimension. Every ten thousand years, the portal would weaken and with the help of his five powerful minions, he would be free. But everytime he attempts to escape, the descendents Chosen ones have always managed to seal the portal back.

Garthox has never left the Void Dimension. The worlds have been in peace with the two brothers guarding the doorway and the portal kept under close watch. But it is now once again the ten thousandth year and Garthox’s prophecy will take place again. The Void dimension will reopen but this time............

Garthox will escape and the 8 Worlds will face the greatest battle they have ever known...

(That's the history behind my book that I have finished!!!)

And the Winner Is....

As promised (I made that promise in the previous post XD), here are the results of Project Runway Season 5, Episode 9...

Okay so...Suede and the young boy who is crazy are out...yes two designers were kicked out. Then, that African American male won this challenge...honestly...I didn't think he should have won...I thought Korto Momolu...whose sign was Aquarius should have won. Either her or the guy who won the gay showgirl outfit should have won. It's not that I am being biased or anything but his design for Ares was freaking awesome. I'd wear that look in an instant. You know what, I'll go search and try to find pictures so you'll get what I mean...

Right now, I'm gonna go find ways to entertain myself till 9am when I can get ready to head out for breakfast with Prabs and Naathan. If you have any ideas on how to keep oneself awake at this ungodly hour, please do share your ideas with me...

What the Hell Am I Doing Up so LATE!?!

Lol I have been a zombie for the past few days, going to sleep at 4am or 5am in the morning and waking up at 8am or 9am later on. Don't ask me why. I just can't seem to sleep like a normal human being anymore. I tried a few nights ago. Switching on my air-con, I clambered onto my double deck bed and curled myself up into a ball with my blanket tugged around me. Closing my eyes, I listened to my heart beat and slowly, I felt myself....WAKING UP!

Sigh. So, I've given up retiring to my bed unless my eyes really close on their own accord. So here I am at 3.14am watching...wait for it...wait for it....PROJECT RUNWAY....*grabs remote control to check which season it is*...SEASON 5, EPISODE 9!!!

They're creating avant-garde looks based on zodiac signs. Interesting...and of course the designers are having cat fights...typical...and I LOVE IT!!!

I'll check in at the end of the show to tell you who won...simply because I have nothing better to do : )

Let's just catch up

So this post is just to tie up everything that happened today, yesterday and whatever days I missed out.

First of all, frisbee practice is going fantastic. We're training well and each of us is slowly finding our strengths and weakness.
Shanty is now the 'Spider Monkey'. Why you may ask. Well the answer is simple. Shanty is oddly very flexible and she's able to twist her body to confuse her opponents as to which direction she's going.
Serena is called the 'White Tiger'. You should sooo see the way she moves. It's like every action she does or step she takes is some gracefully choreographed movement. She is definitely the most graceful player on our team.

Right then. Today. Started of with having lunch with Naathan. He bought me a drink- pepsi. I ate chicken rice and he ate...something. We had discussions where I emphasised my opinion of being single rocks...for now : )

Then, came home, watched a movie, did some editing and went for my sister's children's camp meeting. Looked at some possible problems and everyone came up with ideas.

Right after that, Yoga, Prabs, my sis, my bro, Henry and I went to the hardcourt to play frisbee...god we're addicted to that game. And where were the rest? Ganesh, Naathan, Indra, Ravin and Isabelle were bloody lazy so they remained at the CC.

After that we just headed over to Macs and slacked for abit then we left for home.

And here I am now.

Oh yes before I forget, here...

Men protect your family jewels...you never know whose gonna step on them.

I'm just Bored

*yawn* So much for being inspired enough to jump at the chance at clicking away on my keyboard. I have quite a bit to write about but they all happened like a few days ago or a week ago...Man, I'm like a sloth, sluggishly dragging myself about to perform simple tasks that seem tedious to me...

But that's just me being a lazy water buffalo and it's just for this week. I'm practicing the art of having alot to do but pretending I have all the time in the world to complete it. Did that make any sense to you? Because I don't get what I'm saying....

Anywho, here goes a belated entry of what should, I believe, have been posted last Sunday itself...I am a lazy bum...did I mention that?

And now excitement tinges my writing...just alittle...hmmm...I'm using the three dots a bit too often aren't I? Well it shall end now...I mean now. There.

Okay so last Sunday was special (although I did mention in the post before this that nothing too grand took place but that's bacause I'm an idiot). We had the 2nd official Arteen Furteens Meeting. We basically decided who took up what project and we decided what the next musical is going to be: PETER PAN!!! *insert thunderous applause*

Oh but you must here how that decision came about. (haha I was about to use the three dots there and just barely stopped myself) We were behaving like a stock market team. Each of us called one of our Arteen Furteens Members and asked them which production they would like to do next. It was between 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Wizard of Oz' and 'Peter Pan'. Watch this:

That ended up with Peter Pan winning by a difference of only one vote.

That was a first time for the meeting and we realised that each of us had a point of strength to bring to Arteen Furteens. Each of was good at one area and as such, together we were capable of working out amazing projects and ultimately turn Arteen Furteens into a recognised company. I would not change one member at all.

Okay, over dramatic moment is over. And since by laziness is kicking in, I'm going to end off for now. And maybe if I feel like it, I'll post another one of my extraordinarily exciting life stories later XD

And By the Way,

this is why the Tamil Tigers lost.

Long Story Short

So I haven't made a post in awhile and alot has been going on : ) First of all, I went to watch Angels and Demons with Indra, Prabs and Ravin on Satuday and that was brilliant fun. Except ofcourse for the fact that Ravin was giggling and might I add, like a girl. Right after that, I had to dash off to purchase the cake from Four Leaves. It was 'COCO DELIGHT'. Like Hell it is!!! With its different layers of chocolate from melted coco to wafer biscuit and spongy delight, the cake was a huge hit at the....but I'm jumping ahead of myself.

Basically, we were having a surprise party for my mum!!! It was uber fun because all my family members were there. My mum was surprised so that worked out well.

And oh yeah, Haresh Kishon (Shanty's prince) stayed over!!! He watched tv with my bro and me before he went to sleep in my sister's room. Lol the adorable tyke refused to leave my house the next day but he had to considering how he's a three year old. But I foresee more sleepovers in the near future.

Then Sunday came and went...and today was nice. Because it ended off with Yoga, Indra, Prabs an myself practising frisbee. Yes yes...
Yoga= Mongoose "Squeak squeak"
Prabs= Phoenix "Odd hawk like sound Yoga made..."
Indra= Panther "MeowwRRRR...( as fiercely as possible)" and ofcourse me...
Me= Wolf "Howl..."

We were each given the names based on something we were doing...Yoga was mongoose because he moved like one and well we've given him the task of being the lookout of our team.

Prabs is the Phoenix...because let's just say, she has the best long distance throw...and there was something about how if we ever sucked as a team, she would be the savior of us all...the whole reborn from the ashes thing lol.

Indra is the Panther first of all according to Yoga, if we play matches at night, she'll be able to dodge between people and become our secret weapon. And second of all, because Indra seems rather lazy at first which makes people think she's not going to play well. But then, she strikes...XD

And well I'm the Wolf simply because I catch throws like them...yes I catch throws like the species of dogs...dang Namit.

So we had laughs over that and my BODY IS ACHING LIKE HELL NOW!!! Next training's on Thursday 7.30pm!!!!

Star Trek

*Dorky sign* "Live Long and Prosper"

YES WE WENT TO WATCH STAR TREK AND IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!

I have to say I have never been a huge fan of Star Trek and probably will not start watching the old series. But I must say J.J Abrahm did an amazing job with this legacy to produce a movie that a wide range of audience can enjoy. He made it easy for Star Trek novices to understand the beginnings of this legendary tale. The entire story line was brilliant and the action sequences were awesome.

The movie had Indra, Yoga, Praven and me laughing, screaming and at one point had all of us raise our hands together doing the dorky sign. No, I'm not kidding. It was towards the end of the movie, during an emotional scene between the young Spark and his older version. I somehow had my hand up in the air and I turned to find Indra, Yoga and Praven doing the same. After which we just broke out laughing.

It was definitely a brilliant movie and I encourage everyone to watch it. Although, I would also encourage one to go watch 'Angels and Demons' (released today!!! And Indra's paying for my ticket on Friday XD) or ofcourse 'Night at the Museum 2' or 'Transformers- Revenge of the Fallen' or 'Terminator- Salvation' or....yes the list goes on....Damn summer blockbusters....sucks the cash right out of my pocket....

Happy Birthday Little Prince

Wednesday was actually this darling's birthday but we officially celebrated it today...wait I mean yesterday (just realised that it was 2.31am). So our darling little Prince had his Mr Bean cake and lots of presents!!! Why his presents filled up one entire room.

My mum and brothers got him this odd money collecting monster that seriously had me fascinated for an hour (not even the kids were as befuddled as me). My sister got him a gun (don't worry we instructed him the gun was to be only used for good) and a remote controlled motorbike. As for me, I got the young punk a 3D puzzle. For a 3 year-old darling Prince is brilliant at fixing puzzle pieces!!! His record time at the moment for fixing a 35 piece puzzle is 10 minutes!

Moving on...the get to gather for the birthday party was small but fun. We literally started playing cards immediately. And just to let you know, my youngest brother walked away with a winning of $3, the other brother with $20, my sister with $16 and ofcourse me, with $12.

All in all I would say that we sucked my cousin brother dry XD. Well he did lose more money to the elders of my family. Lol.

We left at 1am with Prince's younger brother falling asleep in my arms. Had to pass that precious darling to Jenny. *sighs* Gonna miss that youngling. And Prince himself ofcourse was attached to my sister like glue that is ofcourse until his mother had to pry him off. It was an awesome night...can't wait to do it again...which we will be!!! Next Saturday!!! But I can't mention anything now!!! In case said person whom we're having a ***** for reads my blog....SSSHHHHHH it's a suprise...

And before I go,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING PRINCE AND LOTS OF LOVE FROM BOTH YOUR SITHIS, MAMAS, GAGA AND GUGU...(my mum and her weird ass abbrevations)

And of course,

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MUM. LOVE YOU LOTS : ) AND YES YOU HAVE TO EAT THE DINNER WE'RE GONNA MAKE FOR YOU LATER TONIGHT....

Lightning Galore

So...I was awake till 4am this morning reading a novel that I just absolutely could not put down till I finished it. It was adventure and deceit all in one- a delicious reading that...

Anyways, as soon as I put the book away and switched off my room lights, I saw a flash of orange from the side of my eyes. So I climbed up to my bed (yes I have to climb up a ladder to reach my bloody bed) which is actually perfectly situated near the window. I had a clear view of the moon and.....LIGHTNING!!!!

It was awesome lol. I took a ten minute video of the skies and then called Prabs (Yeah....at 4am in the morning) to tell her to go see it as well. I'll post up the video later on today so for anyone who has the patience to sieve through those 10 minutes, good luck xD.

But it was really nice. Me on my cozy bed with the moon right there and flashes of spectacular orange and pink and red in the sky. What more could a girl ask for in the morning : )

And it came out in today's newspaper. It says that Singapore has been experiencing more thunder days than usual and that our little tiny red dot has one of the highest lightning count in the world. And ofcourse for those of us who read the news or watched it, you would have heard that the man who has evaded Singapore's police force for nearly a year has been captured in Malaysia. However, that capture was made six weeks ago but Singapore was only let known yesterday. *shrugs* At least he's caught....though I honestly think...ya know what I should just shut up right now.

But before I end this entry, I would like to provide a definition for a phrase you probably would have read constantly on the tagboard. Think of this as some form of urban dictionary XD.

CROO CROO- a noun, adjective and sometimes even a verb
The original expression used to fill up a period of awkward silence that either came after an odd comment or an entry of an odd action.
As a Noun: Wah! She's damn croo croo!
As a verb: Sally was croo crooed yesterday for making that silly comment.

CREEK CREEK- a noun, adjective and sometimes even a verb
The new and upgraded expression for the same reasons as above.

*warning*: Overuse of said expression will cause peals of uncontrollable laughter
