Been trudging through the past few days with little or no sleep but things are good. Lectures and tutorials at NUS are going well.
My body is aching from muscle pulls from netball training on Wednesday.
To top it all off, my feet have blisters on them from dancing for tomorrow's performance. We're performing the violin version of 'Smooth Criminal'. I posted the youtube video of the song by David Garret in one of my previous posts. Check it out because it is freaking awesome!
Anyways, I've really got nothing much to say right now. It's not that I don't have anything to talk about. Trust me there is plenty but right now, I'm extremely content with keeping most of it to myself...at least for the moment.
Anywho, here's a song that I thought you should hear. I've added on the lyrics beneath the music video because I find that the song is extremely meaningful ; ) Plus it kind of expresses my mood for the week.
Everybody needs inspiration
Everybody needs a soul
Beautiful melody, when the nights alone
Cause there is no guarantee
That this life is easy (Yeah)
When my world is falling apart,
when there is no light to break up the dark
That's when I (I) look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore and I
can't find my way home anymore
That's when I (I) look at you
When I look at you
I see forgiveness, I see the truth
You love me for who I am like the stars
hold the moon
Right there where they belong and I know
I'm not alone (Yeah)
When my world is falling apart,
when there is no light to break up the dark
That's when I (I) look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore and I
can't find my way home anymore
That's when I (I) look at you
When the waves are flooding the shore and I
can't find my way home anymore
That's when I (I) look at you
You appear just like a dream to me
Just like a line of school colors that cover me
All I need every breath that I breathe
Don't you know you're beautiful (Yeah, Yeah)
When the waves are flooding the shore and I
can't find my way home anymore
That's when I (I) look at you
I would like to credit Synta Mae for writing out the lyrics.
